The HECMA Connection Program – A Reimagined Group Mentorship Program Many people have asked about the HECMA mentorship program. A new (and hopefully) improved version will be rolled out during this year’s conference. The sub-committee working on this project is seeking feedback from YOU to help guide decision making in building out the program. The program will be open to both clinical and non-clinical HECMA members. It would be a virtual support space to share ideas, resources, and gather feedback from other. The HECMA Connections Program will be a small-group model (compared to the 1 on 1 mentorship that occurred before) that will consist of fluid conversations (structured and unstructured) relating to current topics or themes that are important and relevant to higher education case managers. This program will allow members to grow closer to each other personally and professionally and will cultivate space for people to grow and learn from each other.
